Description
A beautiful Atlas Cedar (cedrus Atlantica) on the grounds of Lulworth Castle in the English county of Dorset. St Mary's Chapel is tucked away near it.
The chapel is in Georgian architectural style. In 1786 architect John Tasker received a commission from King George III to build this chapel saying "build a mausoleum and you may furnish it inside as you wish". So St Mary's became the first free-standing Roman Catholic Chapel for the faithful community in England since the Reformation.
