Artist's Description
En plein air painting on this Saturday morning at the corner of the Kamerikstraat and Kijkduinlaan in Tilburg-NL (http://goo.gl/maps/G7Q6D), at just a few streets distance from my home. Here they are constructing a new sub-suburb in front of the local railway Station Reeshof. The morning sun was still present for at least a remaining 15 minutes so I had to hurry up before the heavy, dark rain clouds came in. Finally I get it to speed my paining session by acting sketchy and keeping the colors togethers. The color palette was simple again: magenta, yellow, ultramarine, titanium white (for highlighting) and Naples yellow (to mix the colors). Original is painted with Cobra oil paint on a 30 x 24 cm panel. Signed on the backside panel only!
