The brave little island once created by the Greek God Poseidon is not yet spoiled nor overrun by mass tourism merely because there is nothing to be found in mass entertainment.
In Greek mythology, Poseidon is the god of water, sea, horses and earthquakes. He is one of the Olympian gods and the brother of the supreme god Zeus. The god is known for his rigid nature and for the trident (trident) he always holds in his hand. He gets the trident from the cyclopes (one-eyed giants) and is therefore the symbol of Paxos. Incidentally, the Roman equivalent of the deity is Neptune.
